Interior
I wanted to give the interior of
the TR6 a new look, but still maintain the look of the classic
British car. To make this a reality, traditional
components were used along with some new additions. A
great deal of time was spent in the interior in an effort to
make things look as if they had been there from the day the car
left the factory.
The inside door panels are
stock. The same can be said about the side pieces behind
the seats, rear fenders and rear firewall (the section that
separates the fuel tank from the cabin area). For a tad
more safety, a sheet of aluminium was used behind the
vinyl covered cardboard.
The doors on early TR6's are
molded plastic. They are glued in place with contact
cement. These are all original pieces and look great.
